Our 50 Year Legacy

When the Viscariello family came to America a half-century ago, they had a clear vision: To open a restaurant in their family's name and serve great tasting, authentic Italian food made from fresh, homemade ingredients that they grew up on in their hometown of Airola, Italy.

This dream came true when Mamma Mia's in Kingston opened for business in 1974. Today, through the efforts of the family's second generation, Mamma Mia's has expanded to six towns across the South Shore of Massachusetts, including Plymouth Waterfront, Plymouth Pinehills, Marshfield, Carver, Hanover, and our original location in Kingston.

Each of our restaurants has their own unique charm that reflects the character of their surrounding communities. But what connects us as a group is our common mission: to make each visit to Mamma Mia's feel like home with authentic Italian cuisine served to your satisfaction.

The Boston Pizza Festival runs Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Admission is $10 in advance, which includes entry and two pizza slices. Tickets are $15 if purchased the day of the event. Additional slice ticket packages are available online or at the festival. Tickets can be purchased at the official Boston Pizza Festival website.
